Trip price:
155 €

Around a two hour drive to the south of Kraków, through the hilly contours of Małopolskie, the city of Zakopane is located deep below the sharp peaks of the high Tatras.

Over the last half a century it has become Poland’s most frequented ski resort.

To start the tour, we will drive up to the Grand Krokiew and take a chairlift to the top of the ski jump. Grand Krokiew is a large ski jump located on the northern slope of the Krokiew mountain. It is the largest ski jump in Poland and one of the two large ski facilities in our country. A vantage point has been created at the top of the hill, which offers a magnificent panorama of all of Zakopane.

We will continue to admire the architecture of the mountain cottages and the surrounding attractions, including the church on Pęksowy Brzyzek.

The funicular train will take us to the peak of Mt Gubałówka –  it’s the quickest and easiest way to get the breath-taking  panoramas of the area that Zakopane is largely famous for.

At the top, the smell of the city’s regional heavy sheep cheeses can be smelled from the small shops all around.  For sure we will spend some quality time there to get best photos.

The town’s main drag is Krupówki, from beginning to end there’s a great selection of bars, gastro-pubs and coffee places.
